Saturday’s edition of Unfiltered with Dan Bongino on Fox Information will have used some filtering in terms of an egregiously inaccurate photo aired all over a monologue on unhealthy cities.
In a phase designed to painting massive cities run via liberal politicians as dangerous and unhealthy, Unfiltered confirmed a map of the U.S. that highlighted the “Top Ten Most Unhealthy U.S. Cities.”
The only problem is, the image in reality showed the ten healthiest cities – or, 9 of them anyway – consistent with the very source that Fox Information referred to.
“Let’s have a look at some major policy areas, proper?” said Bongino. “The economic system, healthcare, schooling, public safety. Where are economies struggling at the moment? Internal cities run solely and monopolistically with the aid of garbage Democrat politicians who don’t supply a rattling about individuals.”
Bongino lamented that many cities haven’t had Republicans on the helm for many years.
“You have a look at one of the most health effects in these inner cities the Democrats have run monopolistically for many years, and you stand a pretty darn just right likelihood of demise in the sort of interior cities – a long way more doubtless, than for those who lived in an areas the place they gave a rattling about people and their healthcare results.”
During the monologue, Fox Information aired a photograph claiming that the unhealthiest cities in the U.S. are: San Francisco; Seattle; Portland, OR; San Diego; Honolulu; Washington, D.C.; Austin; Irving, TX; Portland, ME; Denver.
However there’s a problem. In line with WalletHub – the source that Unfiltered stated in its graphic – the 10 cities featured in the graphic are if truth be told the “healthiest places to live within the U.S.” That is literally the other of “most unhealthy.”
Well, nine of the cities, anyway. Apparently, the Bongino and his production crew took Irvine, CA to imply Irving, TX, which made its approach into the hilariously inaccurate graphic.
In a later airing of Unfiltered, the map graphic did not seem. In its place, Fox News ran B-roll footage of homeless people as an alternative.
In a remark, a Fox News spokesperson advised Mediaite, “On Saturday night time‘s episode of Unfiltered with Dan Bongino, a graphic used to be aired with inaccurate data on the unhealthiest cities in the united states. We feel sorry about the error in an effort to be corrected on next week’s program.”
