MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes was once referred to as out Tuesday after he mistakenly attributed allegations of illicit marketing campaign cash as going to Donald Trump when they if truth be told had been meant for Hillary Clinton.

Hayes retweeted Monday night a tweet from Detroit Information reporter Robert Snell who posted two images from court paperwork that allege Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja and George Nader worked to “funnel cash from the UAE to the 2016 presidential election.”

“America First” refers back to the slogan utilized by Donald Trump throughout his 2016 presidential run.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), recognized his for bombastic presence on the platform, answered to Hayes:

Cruz is correct on this. As CNN stated in December 2019:
