One person used to be killed and over a dozen injured when a man drove his automobile onto a crowded boardwalk in Venice Beach on Saturday.

38-yr-old Nathan Louis Campbell grew to become himself in to authorities Saturday night and is currently being held on $1 million bond. Video from a close-by restaurant displays him parking his car close to the boardwalk at round 6 p.m., and then returning a few minutes later and accelerating into the group. Witnesses say Campbell looked as if it would swerve as so much as that you can imagine to hit folks. Police have launched no rationale for Campbell’s actions.

The victim’s name has been proven as Alice Gruppioni, a 32-year-old Italian woman on her honeymoon. Probably the most eleven injured is still in essential situation.

The boardwalk used to be closed at some stage in Saturday night time, and reopened Sunday morning.
