Fox News host and former Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) went on a tirade about Republicans vote casting to vacate Home Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in October, and now possibly his successor, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), as proposed Friday by using Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Gowdy spoke with Rich Edson in for Bret Baier on Friday’s Special Document.

“Let’s start with the budget that’s taking a look adore it’s going to move ultimately within the Senate tonight. Do you think Speaker Johnson, the Republicans, obtained one of the best deal here that they might have gotten given that they don’t control the Senate or the White House?” Edson asked.

Gowdy answered:

GOWDY:  I mean, , Speaker Johnson — Speaker McCarthy, I think, got a better deal. Understand that, they got rid of him. Rich, all you got to do is appear back to November.
