So much has changed when you consider that Pittsburgh Steelers longtime head educate, Mike Tomlin, entered the NFL training regime in 2007. He has outlasted most of his education counterparts in the league and is just one of three African American coaches within the NFL today.
This week, however, it’s all about rule changes as all 32 head coaches are in Florida for the NFL’s annual meeting. One of the sizzling issues this time round is the overtime rule as a lot of groups have taken a crack at looking to repair the old-fashioned guidelines. Tomlin, though, doesn’t see an issue with the present additional time rule.

“To be moderately honest with you, I’m a surprising demise suggest. I’m a traditionalist,” Tomlin stated at the Steelers press convention Monday. “I don’t fear surprising loss of life and I by no means have, but obviously I misplaced that fight a decade in the past.”
While there could also be some pushback from the other regimes as they look to improve the current principles to force in additional fans, Tomlin prefers the simplistic manner of the rules as he feels the 60 minutes prior, are enough to come to a decision the sport.
“I just think in 60 minutes everyone has had a good possibility to win the game. While you’re speaking about adjustments as it pertains to competitive fairness, I talk to the first 60 minutes that all of us had. So, win the game. I don’t fear sudden loss of life,” he argued.
I feel like Mike Tomlin doesn’t concern surprising loss of life in literally any sense of the term. The threat of sudden dying keeps him on his toes. Unblinking. https://t.co/Gm4Y3Sbi1C

Among the many teams proposing league modifications are the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans who’ve seen their proposals go the furthest in league discussions up to now. The Colts’ suggestion ensures each groups possess the ball in time beyond regulation while the Titans’ thought lets in both groups to own the ball in additional time until the group with the hole possession scores a touchdown and a a success two-point conversion.
Both ruling will require 24 votes by means of the league owners to cross for subsequent season. We must all predict the Steelers and Tomlin to now not be a type of votes.
