NPR Editor Responds to Public Criticism From Veteran Journo in Internal Memo to Staff: ‘Strongly Disagree’

Whereas most of Chapin’s message defended her newsroom’s practices, she introduced, “With all this mentioned, none of our work is above scrutiny or critique. We should have lively discussions in the newsroom about how we serve the general public as a whole, fostering a culture of conversation that breaks down the silos that we once in a while prove retreating to. Ideally, we interact in this debate respectfully, with the purpose of lifting up and strengthening each and every other’s work.”
