That is one thing we must hope for more frequently, from publications both left- and right-leaning. On Friday afternoon, The Washington Publish engaged with a slightly incensed Twitter person.
As Trade Insider declared of the ordeal: “The Washington Put up Destroyed A Troll In A Twitter Battle For The Ages.”
It all started out when the Submit‘s respectable Twitter account linked to a ballot suggesting it showed that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has been losing popularity the more individuals have gotten to “understand” him.
A Cruz supported named Tim Sloan, who sports the #tgdn (Twitter Gulag Safety Network) hashtag, fired off a tweet accusing the paper of being the paper of report for the Communist Birthday Celebration and for being the butt-wipe fabricated from choice for Cruz. After one response from the Post, Sloan shot again with a query about where the paper will stand when the revolution comes.
The paper spoke back each and every time with a deadpan tone, deflating the hostility.
