Glenn Greenwald joined Anderson Cooper on Tuesday night to reply to former Vice President Dick Cheney calling Edward Snowden a traitor on CNN, pronouncing Cheney handiest believes this as a result of Snowden’s revelations have damaged his reputation and private credibility over the world.
Cheney known as Snowden a “traitor, pure and simple.” Greenwald reminded viewers that Cheney “engaged in one of the crucial worst, most radical, and criminal habits in the remaining century in america and did all of it in secret,” and so of course he’s going to name Snowden a traitor for exposing that “wall of secrecy.”
He stated, “The sector is far much better off that the Dick Cheneys of the world aren’t able to abuse their energy in secret.”
Greenwald additionally refuted the claim that any of Snowden’s revelations harmed the US, pronouncing the Cheneys and Obamas of the sector are just indignant that “we harmed their reputations and their credibility by exposing their wrongful acts to the arena.”
