All the way through Bill Maher‘s hour-long sit-down with Piers Morgan Tuesday night time, they broached the subject of Ted Cruz. Maher admitted Cruz has a sound shot at winning the Republican main in 2016 because for decades, he argued, the GOP have been masters of dredging up the “are you kidding me” candidates.

Maher has up to now in comparison Cruz to Miley Cyrus, announcing they’re each keen to piss off their bases a little for the larger just right of selling themselves. And Maher informed Morgan Cruz has been superb at positioning himself because the tea celebration “hero.”

Maher also mentioned that for many years, the Republican party has at all times managed to be the masters of the ‘are you kidding me’ candidate,” from Ronald Reagan to Sarah Palin to, in the end, Ted Cruz.
