North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum may have gotten a boost within the Donald Trump veepstakes on Friday when a Fox host told the governor he looks as if George Washington.

Burgum, a billionaire, is reportedly on Trump’s shortlist to be the Republican vice presidential nominee.

On Friday, the governor was once interviewed on Fox Trade by Larry Kudlow – Trump’s former director of the National Economic Council. The 2 discussed same old campaign fare unless the final 30 seconds, when Kudlow passed alongside an observation to Burgum from Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich.

“How about some Friday follies, Governor? Katie Pavlich, you simply met her,” Kudlow stated, referring to her look within the previous segment. “She says you appear to be George Washington. You appear similar to Washington. Focus in on him. I don’t know if now we have a to hand image of George Washington… Katie’s a very smart girl. And my best question is, how long have you appeared like George Washington?”

Burgum laughed and responded, “It seems that about 10 seconds. That is information to me on that.”

If the greater than one hundred pictures of Washington that Gilbert Stuart painted are any indication, there may be some resemblance between the first president and Burgum – relying on the portrait.

Trump is well-known watcher of Fox Information and Fox Trade Network. He’s also famously fixated on imagery and appearances. As an example, the former president reportedly rejected John Bolton for a senior cupboard post in 2017 as a result of “Bolton’s mustache is an issue.” (Trump would later appoint him to be Nationwide Safety marketing Consultant). As such, any form of resemblance to George Washington may very tip the scales in Burgum’s desire.

On Wednesday, Burgum instructed Fox Information, “Beneath Joe Biden, we’re actually dwelling beneath a dictatorship.”
