Former Democratic Nationwide Committee vice chair Raymond T. Rybak called for a “huge push” from the general public to power the Democratic Birthday Celebration into altering candidates, claiming it’s “completely not too late” to interchange President Joe Biden after his “disastrous debate” efficiency.
In a social media post to Facebook on Sunday evening, the former Mayor of Minneapolis opened: “[Michigan Governor] Gretchen Whitmer would mop the ground with Donald Trump in a debate about abortion rights. [Vice President] Kamala Harris would eviscerate him for killing immigration reform.”
Acknowledging that Biden deserved praise for what he’d executed, he brought: “The American people have spoken naturally that they don’t desire a option between Trump and Biden.”
In his publish, Rybak proposed preserving candidate forums and a straw ballot to select a new nominee, believing this might create “must-see TV” and energize the Democratic base.
