The Washinton Put up deleted a tweet on Friday that observed an Israeli hostage being held via Hamas as “lacking” and derided that hostage’s folks for not publicly acknowledging the loss of life toll in Gaza from Israel’s campaign against Hamas.

The tweet was once for an article titled, “These parents of a U.S. hostage in Gaza took their story to the RNC.” In the article, reporter Joanna Slater does write the quote that the Submit deemed “unacceptable” as a tweet:
