Senate Minority Chief Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had only one word in reply when requested Tuesday to answer former President Donald Trump calling his wife Elaine Chao “crazy.”

“Why do Republicans Senators enable a damaged down hack politician, Mitch McConnell, to brazenly disparage exhausting working Republican candidates for the US Senate. This is such an affront to honor and to management. He must spend more time (and money!) serving to them get elected, and not more time serving to his crazy spouse and domestic get rich on China!” posted Trump on his social media platform, Actuality Social, on Saturday.
