Tim Miller, a former communications director for the Republican National Committee, praised Matt Drudge on Tuesday for having the answer to some of the key questions plaguing the media lately: tips on How to cover former President Donald Trump?

“When individuals inquire from me how I think the media should treat Trump, I’ve an answer many in finding unexpected,” Miller wrote on Twitter within the wake of the Drudge Record operating a headline that blared, “DEMENTING DON DEMANDS NEW ELECTION?” The headline linked to a Mediaite story about Trump re-posting his demand for a new election.

“Like @DRUDGE does. take a Look at today’s banner. He treats him like he would some other baby-kisser,” Miller persevered.

“But if CNN known as him “dementing don” there would be an entire pile on of self-proclaimed media critics on the right speaking about how it is bIaSeD. Calling someone’s demented inspiration demented will not be bias its fact. Possibly a hair tabloidy, however nonetheless truth. Drudge gets it,” the MSNBC regular argued.

On Monday, Drudge ran a photoshopped image of Trump in an orange jumpsuit below the headline “Trump Indictment Watch.”

Whereas the highly trafficked, conservative information aggregator played a a very powerful role in boosting Trump’s 2016 presidential marketing campaign, the website has had more blended coverage of Trump in contemporary years, which from time to time resulted in assaults from Trump.

In September 2020 Trump tweeted, “Our individuals have all left Drudge. He is a at a loss for words MESS, has no clue what came about. Down 51%. @DRUDGE They like REVOLVER and others!”

Other pundits and observers on Twitter commented on Miller’s reward for Drudge with Salon’s Bob Cesca commenting, “During the prior to instances, I by no means would’ve predicted this.”
