Google likes to customize its iconic logo for various birthdays and holidays and from time to time just for funzees. Every so often its art work turns into controversial—say, as an example, when it celebrated Cesar Chavez’s birthday on Easter—which makes it noticeable to conservative websites when it fails to honor, say, the 238th birthday of the Marine Corps, as the Capitol City Venture caught today.
The The Blaze piled on, noting Google has already honored the Day of the Lifeless and Panama Independence this month:
Yet no trace of the Marine Corps’ b-day is to be found on Google’s doodle lately:
“It’s nearly as if the individuals who struggle for freedom don’t deserve any acknowledgment,” Capitol Metropolis mentioned.
