MSNBC host Ari Melber warned Corey Lewandowski he used to be getting into a “defamation scenario” all over Wednesday’s episode of The Beat.

Lewandowski, who lately joined the marketing campaign of former President Donald Trump as an adviser after serving as his marketing campaign supervisor in 2016, regarded on MSNBC in what used to be a predictably contentious interview.

LEWANDOWSKI: I have it proper here.

MELBER: What you will have is a false quote.

LEWANDOWSKI: You completely mentioned it.

MELBER: What you’ve gotten is a false quote. And if – I’m putting you on notice – for those who continue to repeat falsely that I said that, you will be doubtlessly in a defamation scenario because I didn’t say that. But I understand that you’re working off the web, which has numerous false data.

LEWANDOWSKI: Well, this is what it said. Proper right here.
