Right through a speech in the early primary state of South Carolina Tuesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) delivered a searing critique of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s position within the 2012 assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. “Her failure to provide our Ambassador and his mission with ample security must preclude Hillary Clinton from ever protecting high workplace once more,” Paul instructed an audience at The Fort defense force faculty.

It was Paul’s first major speech given that he promised to overhaul his course of in an effort to steer clear of extra circumstances of plagiarism. Paul stated he would “footnote the whole thing as if it was a school paper” shifting forward, and it looks like he has saved that promise.

The transcript of Paul’s Citadel speech, published on his Senate website online Tuesday, contains no fewer than 33 footnotes, with hyperlinks to Reuters, The New York Instances, The Hill and more.

MSNBC’s Al Sharpton aired the Hillary Clinton-focused element of Paul’s speech on his express Tuesday afternoon, and mocked “Mr. Replica and Paste” for trotting out the Benghazi line of assault.

“Your first giant speech because the plagiarism scandal that forced you to claim, ‘if it is going to make people go away me the hell by myself, we’re going to do them like school papers,’ and you’re using that drained, previous, false Benghazi attack?” Sharpton requested. “That is your concept of being authentic? We’ve been listening to this farcical Hillary Clinton scandal-mongering for over a 12 months. Senator Paul, this isn’t even a nice are trying–and that you may supply me again on this one–we received you.”
