As rally-goers in Las Vegas were eagerly waiting for Donald Trump’s speech on Friday night time, the tardy former president used to be tending to different issues.
About 35 minutes after his rally was to start, Trump took to Truth Social to slam the mainstream press for no longer overlaying what he seems to imagine is crucial problem: Vice President Kamala Harris’s work history – particularly, whether she truly worked at McDonald’s as she as soon as claimed.

Republicans blasted the moderators for fact-checking the former president, who advised outrageous falsehoods. At one point he claimed immigrants are stealing pets and consuming them. Somewhere else, he alleged that some states enable for the execution of infants. He additionally falsely claimed that “everyone” needed Roe v. Wade overturned. And naturally, he once again falsely maintained that the 2020 election was rigged towards him.
A CNN certainty test concluded that Trump advised 33 falsehoods to Harris’s one.
Amid the criticism of ABC’s moderators, CNN’s Abby Phillip tweeted, “Simply fyi: when there is asymmetrical lying, there can be asymmetrical certainty checking.”
