Fox & Pals praised former President Donald Trump’s Sunday night rally at Madison Square Garden and even found time to shield what they described as an “offensive” remark made by using a comic before Trump spoke.

The Trump marketing campaign is distancing from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe after he joked about Puerto Rico as a “floating pile of garbage” right through his set at Madison Square Backyard on Sunday. Hinchliffe’s act incorporated more than one controversial jokes, focusing mainly on immigration and Latino and Black voters.

“Republicans are the birthday party with a excellent sense of humor,” Hinchcliffe’s observation started. He added that quite a bit is going down on the earth and brought, “I don’t be aware of for those who guys be aware of this, but there may be actually a floating island of garbage in the course of the ocean right now. I believe it’s known as Puerto Rico.”

Even GOP Sen. Rick Scott mentioned the comic story “bombed” on the rally.

Monday morning’s Fox & Chums opened with virtually 12 minutes of gushing reward in regards to the rally from its co-hosts until Steve Doocy mentioned the controversy.

There used to be a comic book who made some offensive comments about Latinos and Puerto Ricans and African-Americans and others,” Doocy noted. “And he’s already been denounced by way of Republicans and via the campaign. But sadly for the Trump campaign, the Harris marketing campaign has denounced it and mobilized influential Puerto Rican influencers like Bad Bunny, who’s very giant within the Puerto Rican community in the Latino community, he put out something on Instagram, and so did Ricky Martin with thousands and thousands of followers. And he wrote, or he said, ‘This is what they recall to mind us. Vote for Kamala Harris.’”

“That was part of the pre-express; that was once two hours sooner than the president spoke,” Brian Kilmeade jumped in earlier than pivoting to blast media coverage of the adventure. “It’s amazing, the quilt of The New York Occasions [read] ‘Trump at Backyard, a closing carnival of grievances, misogyny and racism.’ Best any individual who works for the Harris campaign pretending to be a reporter for The New York Instances would write one thing like that.”

“You don’t level out that RFK, [from] the most well-known Democratic domestic, in fact was once one of the most featured audio system round,” he introduced. “probably The most well-known inventor on the earth, Elon Musk. That stands out? No. A comedian with a successful podcast. You lose some off-shade.”

But you lose goodwill when before that rally even began, they referred to as it a Nazi rally. Before they even took the stage, they’d already said that it used to be going to be a racist rally,” offered Lawrence Jones. “Number two, perhaps it’s just me, Ainsley, I have a gloomy sense of humor, you already know, And so I, like… maybe this used to be no longer the appropriate structure for the comic to be there? However it’s comedy.”
