Fox News host Gillian Turner battled with veteran Democratic Celebration strategist Philippe Reines in regards to the birthday celebration’s embrace of former GOP congresswoman Liz Cheney on Saturday afternoon.

Reines accused former President Donald Trump of saying Cheney will have to be “shot with eight rifles” in a reference to the Republican nominee’s controversial Thursday statement calling her a “warfare hawk.” Trump said the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney should fight in struggle if she needs to ship American troops out of the country. Trump advised Tucker Carlson:

Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, ok? Let’s see how she feels about it, , when the weapons are educated on her face. You understand, they’re all conflict hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a pleasant building pronouncing, “Oh, gee, let’s ship 10,000 troops proper into the mouth of the enemy.”

Reins joined Fox Information Lives Saturday to discuss the ultimate three days of the 2024 White House race with Turner when he referenced the comment. When Turner recommended the conversation towards a series of recent gaffes committed through President Joe Biden, Reines misquoted Trump, drawing a response from Turner.

“Let’s quick ahead to the opposite night. He stated that Liz Cheney must be shot with eight rifles,” Reines said.

Turner answered, “No, he didn’t precisely say that because I take note this argument you guys are making. Reines fired again:

Come on. This morning, I don’t even know find out how to describe on domestic-pleasant TV what he did. Now, the vp’s closing argument is simple. She needs to battle for all of America.
