The World Legal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Safety Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas militia chief Mohammed Deif on Thursday.
The costs accuse the leaders of committing war crimes and crimes in opposition to humanity in Gaza.
ICC prosecutor Karim Khan, who initiated the request in Could, alleged that Netanyahu and Gallant bear “felony responsibility” for insurance policies that brought about mass hunger in Gaza, violating international legislation.
Meanwhile, Deif, whose fate remains uncertain following unverified reports of his dying, faces allegations of murder, torture, rape, and hostage-taking.
The ICC said there have been “cheap grounds” to pursue these fees towards all three leaders.
This building leaves Netanyahu and Gallant prone to arrest in nations that recognize ICC jurisdiction beneath the 1998 Rome Statute, although many member states have traditionally overlooked such warrants.
