MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart had a hectic change with GOP House candidate Leon Benjamin about some blatantly homophobic feedback that the Republican Congressional candidate made on social media previously.

Benjamin — a Navy veteran and pastor of New Existence Harvest Church — joined Capehart on Sunday to speak about the special election he faces in opposition to Democrat Jennifer McClellan in Virginia’s fourth Congressional District.
