Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) appeared on MSNBC Friday morning to speak about the previous day’s landmark vote to curtail the filibuster process in the Senate, however ended up stoking rumors about his own future when he stated he can be open to a presidential run in 2016.

The newest spherical of hypothesis started out past this week when Sanders first expressed his “consideration” on Thom Hartmann’s radio exhibit after which told his local Burlington Free Press that he’s “prepared to consider making a run if no person else with modern views much like his ends up taking the plunge.” When MSNBC’s Chris Jansing asked the senator about his plans Friday, adding, “a number of liberals would love you to position your hat in the ring,” he reiterated the sentiment.

After reviewing his core issues of the disappearing middle class and income inequality, Sanders mentioned, “These considerations have got to be addressed. It’ll be a really perfect disservice to the political course of and the American people if anyone just isn’t standing up for working classification people and the center class. Am I the only person talking about these concerns? Completely not. Might there be higher folks? Yes, there might.”

Jansing adopted this resolution be asking whether or not his choice might be suffering from the presence of presumed frontrunner Hillary Clinton or Vice President Joe Biden in the race.

“It’s not the person, Chris, it’s the problems. The give way of the center category and rising wealth and earnings inequality should be mentioned. Can people do it? Completely. If no person else goes to do it? You already know what, I might be ready to do it.”

At seventy two, Sanders is older than both Clinton and Biden, and would be seventy five on Inauguration Day 2017, a full 6 years older than the previous oldest-elected President Ronald Reagan. Then again, Sanders himself delivered an eight and 1/2 hour “filibuster” speech in opposition to the extension of the Bush tax cuts in 2010 on the age of 69, so that will have to say one thing about his stamina and pressure.
