Stewart Mills, the Minnesota Republican who’s aiming to usa Democratic Rep. Rick Nolan, issued a observation Friday responding to some probably damaging images that surfaced on Metropolis Pages’ Minnesota Politics weblog. “It’s no secret that in the past I’ve let my hair all the way down to have fun with family and friends,” Mills said of the pictures, which embrace the candidate using a “beer bong” and touching his tongue to the lips of a lady who isn’t his spouse.

Mills, who is vice president of the Mills Fleet Farm chain, brought, “My wife and I’ve had many lighthearted moments in our lives however right now I am involved in my Congressional marketing campaign and the disastrous results of our overreaching executive and sky high unemployment in the north japanese Minnesota.”

It was a reputedly straightforward and unapologetic response from a man whose possible components could easily be turned off by means of the photos. Obviously, Mills is banking that Minnesota voters will let his rather minor discretions slide.
