Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Defiant Amid Trump’s Call to Protest His Possible Arrest: ‘We Do Not Tolerate Attempts to Intimidate Our Office’

Manhattan District Lawyer Alvin Bragg warned that New York legislation enforcement won’t tolerate threats or intimidations by way of Donald Trump’s supporters — whom the previous president entreated to protest his potential upcoming indictment.

Politico’s Erica Orden acquired an electronic mail Bragg sent to his workers this weekend — with the DA’s place of business regarded as preparing to arrest and criminally cost Trump over the Stormy Daniels hush cash scandal. The ex-president answered to this impending action with a sequence of indignant social media statements — claiming he will be arrested on Tuesday, and calling on his supporters to come out and protest against it.

Some observers are involved the ex-president’s name to action may just spark chaos similar to the Jan. 6 Capitol rise up — given the similarities between his rhetoric previous to that day, and what he’s saying now. In his electronic mail, Bragg addressed those issues, writing, “we don’t tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the guideline of law in New York,” and “our regulation enforcement partners will ensure that any particular or credible threats towards the place of job shall be absolutely investigated and that the right kind safeguards are in position so all 1,600 of us have a steady work setting.”
