Laura Ingraham defended Elon Musk after the billionaire made a hand gesture that resembled a Roman salute utilized by the Nazis.
Conversing at a rally in Washington, D.C. shortly after President Donald Trump was inaugurated on Monday, Musk thanked supporters by placing his hand on his chest and increasing it up and outward along with his palm going through down – twice.
Democrats and liberal pundits ripped Musk over the gesture while neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes hailed it as a “straight up” Nazi salute. Musk and his supporters deny the accusation, with some claiming that Musk merely lacks the notice to understand his movement could be interpreted as a Nazi salute.
On Wednesday’s model of The Ingraham Perspective on Fox News, the host scoffed at the concept that Musk gave a nod to Nazis.
“Now, we all know that Elon Musk is enthusiastic about the Trump agenda and that he’s susceptible to surprising wild gesticulations,” she stated. “Kinda funny. And that is what the grasping, gasping resistance grabs onto.”
Ingraham performed a montage of pundits and politicians condemning Musk:
