Fox Information/Pierre Zakrzewski
Fox Information has named its London Bureau after photojournalist Pierre Zakrzewski, who used to be killed in a missile attack near Kyiv, Ukraine, remaining yr.
Zakrzewski, together with Fox Information correspondent Benjamin Hall and local Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova have been masking the Russian invasion of Ukraine in March 2022 when a missile struck their car. Zakrzewski and Kuvshynova have been killed, whereas Corridor was once severely injured. Hall credited Zakrzewski for saving his existence via talking with him unless lend a hand arrived.
Fox held a ceremony to call the Pierre Zakrzewski London Bureau and to install a plaque bearing his title.
“Pierre was well known all over the media trade for his passionate storytelling and remarkable ability, and he was once an all-round remarkable colleague. Whereas we’re still devastated through his loss, we are extremely proud to honor his legacy by means of dedicating and naming our London bureau after him,” mentioned Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott in an interior memo.
“As I mentioned at the ceremony, it’s exhausting to imagine that it’s been more than a 12 months since the attack that took Pierre and Sasha from us, and wounded Ben. Ben has made tremendous strides in his recovery, recently becoming a member of us on the White House Correspondents Association dinner and interviewing Secretary of State Antony Blinken remaining week,” Scott persevered.
