After virtually 13 hours of filibustering, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) finally yielded the floor, striking an finish to his historic protest towards the administration’s lack of answers on its authority to execute centered assassinations of Americans abroad and on U.S. soil.

Sen. Paul commenced his filibuster of Obama’s CIA pick John Brennan at eleven:forty seven a.m. ET Wednesday and wrapped up at 12:39 a.m. Thursday morning.
