New Day host Chris Cuomo found himself in a combative interview with Dennis Rodman Tuesday morning after he requested the former NBA participant if he planned to force Kim Jong-un to released imprisoned American Kenneth Bae whereas in North Korea this week. As soon as temperatures had cooled, Cuomo went again on CNN this afternoon to speak about Rodman’s strange outburst.

Cuomo said he doesn’t recognize if Rodman really is familiar with the controversy surrounding Bae’s imprisonment and isn’t certain it that actually issues. “For me, Dennis Rodman is handiest related in as so much as, for no matter bizarre, bizarre, unknown purpose, he seems to have the ear of the ruler of North Korea in a technique that no other branch of america diplomatic corps does,” Cuomo said.

When CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux asked him if he has plans to fulfill Rodman in person upon his return to the U.S. with a view to make amends, Cuomo resisted the theory. “He would kill me. Do you see the scale of that man? Did you see how angry he used to be?” he asked. “Thank God it wasn’t in individual. I don’t even recognize what I’d appear to be at the moment.”
