Eve Brannon of South Carolina’s Upstate Atheists crew just wished to raise money for charity by providing up her time to any churchgoer who wanted to indicate her what religion is all about. However now she claims eBay made that process particularly troublesome for her, taking away her “Take an Atheist Chief to Church” put up many times without correct explanation.

Brannon re-posted the auction web page two or 3 times after eBay sent her notices that it had been taken down, once as a result of it certain which charity the cash would go to and once more as a result of it was listed beneath the fallacious category. At one level, the original link began redirecting to the page for a Christian rock CD.

In a statement, a spokesperson for eBay defined that it was “removed in error”:

eBay has outlined clear polices for our sellers and works vigilantly to make sure accountable use of our market. In situations when bizarre or excessive-profile listings come to our attention, we review them to make sure they conform to policies and work with marketers to record them as it should be. When a listing is erroneously removed in this course of, we work just as onerous to make amends and repair the listing in a well timed method.
