Harvey Weinstein, one of the most largest names in Hollywood, is working on a film that takes direct purpose at the Nationwide Rifle Association. Talking with Howard Stern Wednesday, Weinstein mentioned he plans on making a film which will make the NRA “wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them.”

Throughout a dialogue about Weinstein entering the directing game, the issue of guns weaved its method in. Weinstein admitted that if something like the Holocaust was happening once more, “I’d discover a gun if that used to be happening to my people.” That being said, Weinstein doesn’t assume “we want guns in this united states” and called the NRA a disaster space.”

After which he hinted at a undertaking he’s engaged on because of his passion about this explicit difficulty.

“I’m gonna make a movie with Meryl Streep and we’re gonna take this difficulty head-on, and so they’re gonna wish they weren’t alive after I’m accomplished with them.”
