Conservative activist Ned Ryun is not going to pass over Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) every time it is he leaves his position as the Republican leader.

On Wednesday, McConnell iced up when requested whether or not he’s going to run for reelection in 2026.

“Oh,” McConnell said. “That’s uh.” He then iced over and remained stupefied earlier than an aide rushed to him.

“Did you hear the query, Senator, about operating for reelection in 2026?” she requested.

McConnell didn’t snap out of it.

“All proper, I’m sorry, you all,” the aide said. “We’re gonna desire a minute.”

It was the 2nd such incident for McConnell in view that late July.

McConnell stepped away from the Senate for a few weeks within the spring after struggling a fall at a dinner in Washington, D.C.

Ryun went on to foretell that McConnell will probably be succeeded through Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD).
