Ryan Fournier, who co-founded Students for Trump, was once charged with assaulting his lady friend, consistent with a document revealed through Axios on Tuesday night time.
According to a Justice of the Peace’s order, Fournier, 27, was once arrested in Johnston County, North Carolina one week ago. The order states he assaulted his girlfriend through “grabbing her proper arm and hanging her within the forehead” with a handgun.
He posted bond that evening after being charged with domestic assault on a female and domestic assault with a deadly weapon. Axios mentioned the police document says the victim suffered a “minor harm.” Fournier’s subsequent listening to is scheduled for Dec. 18.
He didn’t respond to a request for comment with the aid of the publication.
Fournier co-based Students for Trump with John Lambert all the way through the 2016 presidential marketing campaign while enrolled at Campbell University, a Christian institution. In 2021, Lambert was sentenced to thirteen months in prison for posing as a lawyer from a Long island legislation firm. Between 2016 and 2018, he acquired $forty seven,000 in change for giving criminal advice he used to be no longer qualified to impart. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud in 2019.
Lambert’s lawyer said Fournier used to be in on the scheme. A hearing revealed Fournier cooperated with prosecutors.
