Amy Schumer has vowed to “burn each bridge” as host of the 2022 Academy Awards.
Schumer is set to co-host the 94th annual Academy Awards with Wanda Sykes and Regina Corridor, making the 2022 experience the first to have a bunch in three years.
“I’m going to get myself in some hassle as per the [usual],” she stated of the gig whereas speaking to Further’s Jenn Lahmers. “Wanda, Regina are hilarious, and we’re having a blast preparing.”
Schumer, who sat down with Lahmers to advertise her new Hulu sequence Lifestyles & Beth, went on to question who selected her to host the award convey.

Schumer’s crack comes after Ricky Gervais stated that he would host the Oscars “totally free” if the Academy let him say no matter he wanted without rehearsing.
“The great thing on the Globes, they stated I could write my own jokes, say what I would like, and not rehearse, and that’s just too just right for a comic to show down,” he stated of his time webhosting the Golden Globes, adding that the Academy would never enable him that very same freedom.
