President Joe Biden uses a CPAP laptop to help with sleep apnea, consistent with a new article in Bloomberg.

Jennifer Jacobs and Jenny Leonard said that strap marks from the CPAP could be viewed on the president’s face as he departed the White House on Wednesday. CPAP is brief for “steady sure airway pressure,” and the machines are frequently worn overnight to keep airways open while a person sleeps.

Biden revealed his prognosis of sleep apnea  — a common situation that reasons respiratory to change into shallow or cease altogether — in 2008. Anonymous sources told Bloomberg that Biden’s “use of the laptop is a contemporary construction.”

At least one reporter was once not impressed with the Biden health news.

Biden underwent his annual bodily in February; In his file, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote that the president was once a “wholesome, full of life, eighty-yr-old male, who’s fit to successfully execute the responsibilities of the Presidency.” The report also stated Biden had a “small lesion” on his chest, which was eliminated and later recognized as basal-cell carcinoma. O’Connor wrote in a letter to the White House that Biden was once “handled” for the lesion and given a clean bill of well being.

“The website online of the biopsy has healed well and the President will continue dermatologic surveillance as part of his ongoing comprehensive healthcare,” O’Connor wrote.

Biden is the oldest U.S. president in history, and questions about his health for future place of work has raised doubts amongst Democrats ahead of the 2024 presidential election. On Wednesday, MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan tweeted that Biden was “tremendous outdated and retains forgetting phrases,” but steered the president was a much more appealing candidate than the GOP’s Donald Trump.
