While discussing the suspension of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson on This Week With George Stephanopoulos, Weekly Same old editor Invoice Kristol denounced political correctness’ “lynch mob” mentality, which he linked to the firing of PR government Justine Sacco for a tweet about race, AIDS and Africa that went viral whereas Sacco was once on a world flight Friday.
“Political correctness is out of hand,” Kristol stated. “Barry Diller fired a younger lady employee of his—I take it, is in fact, because it happens, a liberal and all this, tolerant individual available in the market in west L.A.—she sends a tweet getting on a airplane and he or she’s fired ahead of the airplane lands. “It’s insensitive,” ABC political commentator Donna Brazile stated of Sacco’s tweet—which was once “so offensive” host George Stephanopoulos wouldn’t repeat it on air—after which back to Robertson. “What he said was once extremely ignorant.
