Latest court rulings and bills before state legislatures were the subject of a number of segments on Saturdays The Katie Phang Express on MSNBC, with host Katie Phang calling it a “warfare on women.”

After talking with NBC’s Chloe Atkins about courtroom rulings on the abortion tablet, Phang summarized.

“All eyes are on the Supreme Courtroom, who is having a look at one in all, you know, most expected abortion-related instances since the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June,” stated Atkins.

“You realize, Chloe,” said Phang, “we more or less predicted, right, that this conflict on girls was once going to maintain on going ahead, and obviously the subsequent fight is the abortion capsule.”

Later in the show, Phang teased an upcoming segment, and characterized what her friends have been there to speak about.

“Later, one woman says being pregnant in Florida is sort of a death sentence,” said Phang. “How the state’s abortion rollbacks are placing women’s lives in harm’s method.”

In that segment, Phang interviewed two Florida ladies, Anya Cook dinner and Shanae Smith-Cunningham, who were every recognized with life-threatening conditions while pregnant but who said their doctors had been afraid to take movements due to Florida’s regulations.

Asked about what they’d tell Florida politicians about their painful, life-threatening experiences, Cook mentioned she’ say, “you might be killing us.”

Eventually, Phang spoke with a Democrat in Florida’s state legislature, Sen. Shevrin Jones, who known as Florida’s Heartbeat Safety Act “government overreach” and that “Black ladies are going to die” as a result of the legislation.
