Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) defended Donald Trump amid reviews that the previous president trashed Milwaukee, where Republicans are keeping their conference next in July.

Throughout a meeting with congressional Republicans on Thursday, Trump stated, “Milwaukee, the place we’re having our conference, is a horrible metropolis,” according to Punchbowl News.

While a couple of Republicans denied the ex-president stated this, Trump himself admitted to disparaging the city.
