Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) is facing a problem to his re-election marketing campaign. The Related Press said that a group of North Carolina voters filed a candidacy challenge on Monday, searching for to bar Cawthorn from appearing on the pollgiven his strengthen of the Jan. sixth rioters at the U.S. Capitol.

“The voters contend that Cawthorn, who formally filed as a candidate for the 13th District seat closing month, can’t run as a result of he fails to conform to an modification in the U.S. Structure ratified shortly after the Civil War,” the AP pronounced.
