MSNBC’s Chris Hayes ripped the conception that good guys with guns can counteract armed criminals as he stated law enforcement officials in Uvalde, Texas did nothing as children have been murdered at an elementary college.

Their state of being inactive Tuesday did little, if nothing, to help 19 kids and two teachers who confronted a homicidal gunman alone at Robb Elementary College.

Officials up to date the public on Friday concerning the newest small print about the massacre. Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw admitted officers on scene made the “improper” determination after they decided not to enter a classroom to neutralize the shooter.

Hayes performed a few of McCraw’s comments and unloaded.

“Nineteen law enforcement officials were throughout the college for more than 40 minutes because the gunmen holed up in a classroom with those terrified little children, and people panicked determined kids kept calling 9-1-1 and pleading with them to send the police,” Hayes mentioned.

Hayes mentioned he watched McCraw’s press conference and was once left “speechless.” He brought,

There’s no reason to take the rest somebody from law enforcement in the situation says a face value, full stop. So that’s what we now have now, however it does seem tested, even as we seemingly extra in the coming weeks, the worst conceivable set of info appears to be the authentic one. That the police utterly failed, with their guns. The great guys with guns within the school utterly didn’t offer protection to those kids. They set up a cordon outside the college, and yelled at and threatened and avoided folks from speeding in, even it appears as the gunman was still inside of.

Hayes then ripped National Rifle Affiliation CEO Wayne Lapierre, and argued the tragedy in Uvalde proves gun advocates were unsuitable for many years by arguing more guns are wanted to offer protection to public security.

“Along with the police response being an unfathomable failure, it’s also just a profoundly upsetting demonstration of the chapter of the fingers race concept of violence prevention, one thing that Wayne Lapierre pulled out of the ether,” Hayes argued, staing,

This decades-lengthy project outlined by Lapierre, 10 years ago – “Just give all and sundry weapons and arm and increasingly militarized police pressure, more and more cash, increasingly more weapons, be certain all of them have SWAT teams. All of them need to have SWAT teams, because you never comprehend.” So, if one of the crucial weapons leads to the hands of a bad man, we’re gonna have a parliamentary unit that’s trained to go in there and prevent them. It’s all BS!

Hayes mentioned militarized police departments have been supplied an opportunity in Texas to show their arsenals were justified.

He concluded the conception it takes a good man with a gun to prevent an equally-armed monster was tested, and it didn’t move.

“Here’s the proving floor,” he said. “And we simply saw it fail in realtime.”
