CNN political commentator Paul Begala prompt on Wednesday that Donald Trump’s household jewels are in the pocket of Russian President Vladimir Putin — whereas praising President Joe Biden going off the cuff and referring to the foreign leader as a “crazy SOB.”

On CNN’s The Source, Begala, a former consultant to Bill Clinton, contrasted Trump likening himself to late activist Alexei Navalny to Biden’s feedback this week at a San Francisco fundraiser.

“I think this is great. That is Biden being robust and Trump being vulnerable, and Trump voters love this perception that he’s strong. I think Biden must press this,” he stated. “Putin’s bought one thing on Trump. What he’s received is a specific a part of his anatomy right in his pocket. Trump spends all his time bowing before Putin, on his knees to Putin. He’s weak, susceptible, weak. And here’s Joe, who is meant to be a doddering outdated man. He’s able to take the fight to Putin, so I admire that as a Democrat. I love that as an American. Putin is our enemy.”

Host Kaitlan Collins talked about Trump’s Russia comments as “not very Republican-esque.”

Begala partially dismissed Trump supporters prior in the panel discuss while discussing the general public forking over money for the former president’s felony payments. A GoFundMe has topped $900,000, as of Thursday morning.

“We have half of a country that can’t stand [Trump],” he stated. “And so I don’t assume spending all my time inspecting Trump supporters is all that helpful because they’re there and God bless them, we hope that they all vote and we love them, and we hope they give all their cash to criminal bills for Mr. Trump.”
