A CNN panel devolved into a shouting fit on Thursday after Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) many times mispronounced Vice President Kamala Harris’s identify.

As Mace repeatedly mentioned Harris’s identify in an try and pronounce it proper, Democratic strategist Keith Boykin spoke back, “You had it proper. You virtually got it.”

“I’ll say Kamala’s title any manner that I wish to,” shot back Mace, which resulted within the panel turning into heated.

After Vanderbilt University professor Michael Eric Dyson protested Mace’s mispronunciation, the congresswoman responded, “I simply did and I’ll do it once more.”

Boykin and Dyson then proceeded to shout over Mace as CNN host Abby Phillip said, “One by one, guys.”

“If I purposely mispronounced your name, that might more than likely no longer be applicable,” declared Boykin, ahead of Dyson instructed Mace, “You’re normalizing that roughly viciousness, man. You’re disrespecting the woman.”

Afterward, the panel become increasingly heated after the issue was introduced up once more.

After Mace complained that it was “offensive” and “disgusting” to insinuate she was racist, Dyson snapped, “What is disgusting is your disrespect of her.”

As the two endured to argue and talk over one every other, Dyson shouted, “Pronounce her identify proper.”

“Kamala Harris–” mentioned Mace, mispronouncing her identify again.

“Kamala! Kamala!” the other panelists shouted at her, ahead of Boykin shouted, “It’s Kamala! You’re doing this on goal, congresswoman!”

Dyson concluded, “You’re a White girl disrespecting a Black girl.”
