CNN anchor Jim Acosta sharply criticized Fox News on Sunday for doing “nothing” to prevent Tucker Carlson‘s “dangerous” rhetoric.

In the wake of the Buffalo supermarket taking pictures, which authorities have deemed “a straight-up racially-motivated hate crime,” Acosta aired clips of Carlson pushing the “nice substitute thought,” which alleges that Democrats are looking to replace the present voters with 0.33-world voters.

In keeping with reports, the 18-12 months-outdated Buffalo shooter drove more than 200 miles to the supermarket to target a predominantly Black local. The Washington Put up reported that in his manifesto, the gunman cited the conspiracy thought that White persons are intentionally being replaced.

“Those are just a few examples,” Acosta said of the Carlson compilation, including moments later, “When the New York Occasions lately ran an expose on Carlson’s file of promoting white nationalism and substitute conception, he tweeted out…a picture of himself conserving up the article, the entrance web page of the New York Instances, and laughing about it.”

Acosta then instructed his visitor, NAACP President Derrick Johnson, that “thousands and thousands of individuals absorb this rubbish frequently on his application” and “Fox does nothing about it — they make millions of bucks off of it.”

In response, Johnson called on the NFL to “stand up and inform NewsCorp to drop Fox News, stop funding them.”

Later, on the end of the phase, Acosta remarked that “it is only despicable” to see people in positions of power animating “domestic terrorists to inflict the kind of harm that we noticed in Buffalo.”
