Democratic governors have reached out to the White Home requesting to “hear directly” from President Joe Biden, CNN’s Jake Tapper reported on Tuesday morning.

“Sources: Democratic governors held a name the day before today afternoon… Just governors – no staffs – no person from marketing campaign or WH… Prepared by Gov Tim Walz of Minnesota for the DGA [Democratic Governors Association]…” commenced Tapper on X, previously Twitter.

He continued:

On the decision Dem. governors expressed challenge about what’s occurring with the president. They be aware of if they arrive ahead publicly with situation that seemingly will cause Biden to dig in more. They were additionally shocked none of them had heard from him (!)

There was dialogue on the call about wanting to have a call with the campaign or White Home… Some discussion about having VP Harris address them… There was once robust sentiment that they wanted to hear right away from President Biden.

They are looking to set up a gathering on the WH …or by way of Zoom for individuals who can’t come…nothing is on the books but….but WH is aware of of request

Dem Govs usually are not coming in with any particular message– but they feel they need to hear from President Biden.

“More to return,” promised Tapper.

Biden has faced scrutiny from a lot of the media and even elected officers within his birthday celebration when you consider that his disastrous performance in remaining week’s presidential debate with Donald Trump.
