The Washington, D.C. District Division of Transportation denounced and took down an anti-Trump transit advert this week after the poster claimed to have been paid for via the mayor’s workplace.

Photography of the advert – which featured the slogan “Preserve DC Trash Free” above a caricature of a man in a “Make The us Great Again” hat – went viral on social media after being noticed at a bikeshare dock on 3rd St & Pennsylvania Ave SE in D.C.

Washington, D.C. The Division of Transportation also published a photo which showed the poster had been faraway from the transit ad show.
