A Wisconsin state representative become the newest Twitter politico to be metaphorically tossed within the social media chipper-shredder for a tweet scolding parents who wished to “have a say” in their kids’s schooling. She bought dragged for the tweet, deleted it, obtained dragged for deleting it, posted an apology, and then acquired dragged for the apology.
State Rep. Lee Snodgrass is a Democrat representing an Appleton, Wisc. area district (about 30 miles southwest from Green Bay) and the 2d Vice Chair of the Wisconsin Democrats. On Thursday, she tweeted, “If folks want to ‘have a say’ of their kid’s training, they will have to home college or pay for private college tuition out of their household funds.”

Buried in an avalanche of tweeted mockery, Snodgrass deleted the tweet and posted several follow up tweets to “clarify” her place, writing that her authentic tweet had been “missing in nuance and easily misinterpreted.”
“Of course parents want to have a say in their children’ education and their lecture rooms!” she delivered. “I’m a father or mother, and I have a say, as will have to every guardian. I shouldn’t were cavalier or glib—that wasn’t my intention, and I make an apology. Lift on!”
