A nerve-racking video making the rounds on social media presentations a group of Michigan State gamers violently attacking a Michigan player within the tunnel, moments after the Wolverines defeated the Spartans in Ann Arbor.
The footage, captured with the aid of Matt Charboneau of the Detroit News, displays the Michigan State players punching and kicking the Michigan participant — who seems to be sophomore cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows — whereas he was on the ground. One Michigan State participant is then viewed lifting McBurrows up and shoving him thru a doorway.

Afterwords, Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel introduced that local legislation enforcement was taking a look into the incident as he denounced the attack.
“What happened after the sport is totally unacceptable,” Manuel mentioned within the post-sport information conference. “I’ve talked to the commissioner, he’s looking into it,” Manuel said. “The police are also looking into it, as a result of they’ve considered the video they usually’re addressing it. We will go away it in their fingers, but this is not how we will have to interact after a recreation.
“This is not the way in which another staff must seize a participant and do what they did, it’s totally and completely unacceptable. We will let the Big Ten and legislation enforcement handle it, but this is not what a competition should be about.”
In a remark to Twitter, Michigan State show Mel Tucker said, “As Spartans our software has a accountability to uphold the easiest stage of sportsmanship. Whereas thoughts were very excessive at the conclusion of our rivalry recreation at Michigan Stadium, there is not any excuse for conduct that places our staff or our opponents at risk. In full cooperation with regulation enforcement, the Large Ten Conference and MSU and UM leadership, we will overview the events in Ann Arbor and take swift and applicable action.”
