A marketing campaign to lift dollars for a toddler discovered wandering the streets of Highland Park, Illinois after Monday’s mass taking pictures has quick surpassed its intention of $500,000.

Police say Robert Crimo III fired 70 rounds from a rooftop throughout a Fourth of July parade within the city. Seven people are dead and 30 others were wounded.

Authorities in suburban Chicago are searching for to identify the oldsters or guardians of a younger boy who used to be found in the aftermath of a mass shooting at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park.

The infant, recognized in the fundraising marketing campaign as Aiden McCarthy, used to be later recognized and placed in the care of his grandparents.

His parents, Kevin McCarthy and Irina McCarthy, had been both killed all the way through the shooting.

A GoFundMe was set up Tuesday afternoon with a goal of $500,000 for Aidan. In less than two hours, the marketing campaign surpassed its goal.

The marketing campaign reads:

Aiden can be cared for by means of his loving domestic and he will have a protracted road ahead to heal, in finding stability, and ultimately navigate life as an orphan. He is surrounded through a group of friends and extended household so one can embrace him with love, and any way available to make sure he has the whole thing he needs as he grows.

“On behalf of his family, and with their permission, I am setting up this fundraiser to give a boost to him and the caregivers who will be tasked with elevating, caring for, and aiding Aiden as he and his toughen machine embark on this sudden journey,” wrote Irina Colon, who equipped the marketing campaign.
