Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) celebrated Rupert Murdoch’s decision to step down as chairman of News Agency and Fox Agency on Thursday, accusing him of inflicting “incalculable injury” to the USA.

Throughout an interview with Warren on MSNBC’s The ReidOut, host Pleasure Reid cited, “You could have referred to as Fox a dangerous, you realize, manufacturing facility of lies and been very blunt in your evaluation of the injury that they’ve achieved to our democracy.”

Reid then asked, “Do you may have touch upon the truth that Rupert Murdoch, at ninety two, is now stepping down and is turning into an emeritus and not working the company?”

Warren spoke back, “Rupert Murdoch built a hate-for-profit computer and that machine has undermined our democracy and performed incalculable injury to this nation. I’m glad he’s leaving, but I wish he’d by no means come.”

In 2019, Warren refused an invite to look at a Fox News city hall and accused the community of offering “a megaphone to racists and conspiracists.”
