Exclusive: France’s Snecma targeted by hackers – researcher

Through Jim Finkle BOSTON (Reuters) – French aerospace engine maker Snecma, a unit of Safran, was attacked via hackers who exploited a vulnerability in Microsoft Corp's Web Explorer, consistent with a pc security researcher. It was once no longer clear how successful the hackers had been in their efforts to breach Snecma's community, consistent with the researcher, who has studied malicious device and infrastructure used by the hackers. A spokeswoman for Snecma's dad or mum, Safran, said she had no immediate comment. The researcher said the malicious device utilized by the hackers contained code that recognized Web domain names belonging to Snecma.
